100% Position Purpose: The 4-H Youth Development State Program Director is responsible for providing innovative leadership in the creation and articulation of a collective vision for the 4-H Youth Development program area, one of Cooperative Extension's four program areas. The State Program Director provides administrative leadership in all areas of an inclusive statewide 4-H Youth Development program. Program operations include those related to research-based program development, implementation and evaluation; creating and supporting a scholarly environment; human resource development and administration; external relationship-building and partnership development; and development of financial resources and budgetary administration. The State Program Director also provides administrative oversight for the Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center and the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation. The State Program Director provides support for organizational structures and functions in collaboration with UW-Extension and Cooperative Extension administrative colleagues.
