Function(x) is a technology driven media company that recently launched Viggle, the first of its kind loyalty and rewards program for watching television.

You can check into your favorite TV shows with Viggle and get great, real, tangible rewards such as movie tickets, music, gift cards and much, much more. All just for watching the TV shows you love.

The main conduit through which people interact with Viggle is through the mobile platform, so your work will directly reach the millions of users across the country (and beyond) that we plan on reaching.

We've built the iOS app already but we need your expertise in building out the Android app for Android based smartphones and tablets.

If you’re into designing bleeding edge mobile systems, developing native mobile apps that will be used on a worldwide scale and want to part of a fun, fast paced and growing team with enormous ambitions, we should talk.

What You'll Be Doing:

• You’ll be leading mobile development on the Android platform – one of the primary vehicles through which consumers interact with the Viggle experience.
• You’ll be actively involved with design, architecture and implementation of end-to-end Android apps and our mobile internet presence.
• You’ll be creating the killer and best-in-class mobile experience for millions of users.

Your Profile:

• You should have around three or more years of experience in software design and development.  That's sounds like a nice odd number, doesn't it?
• You’ll have demonstrated experience in delivering one or more engaging interactive applications for the Android platform.  Keyword here is "Interactive."
• Deep knowledge of Android and a strong passion in mobile industry and mobile development.  This is important.  We're not looking for someone who just sees working here as a job.
• Strong object oriented design and analysis skills.  Important for all developer roles, right?
• Java programming skills.  If you know the Android framework, you should know Java.
• Strong intuition for UX and consumer behavior.  Knowing how people will use your app is important.  If you have strong opinions on where buttons should go, all the better.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related work experience
• Ideal candidates will have had a high degree of performance-sensitive interaction with sophisticated back-end systems.
