Marketing Communications Representative JOB SUMMARY: As a Marketing Communications Representative with Lake Region medical you will assist in coordination, planning, development and implementation of Lake Region Medical's communications, internal and external, across multiple communications vehicles utilizing computer-aided publishing and traditional media. Accountabilities include: Assist in creating, developing and implementing the design layout and preparation of Company-generated communications utilizing current industry standard page layout, web development and image processing tools. Assist in concept, editing, production and presentation of internal and external multi-media presentation. Assist in coordination of trade shows, and other events, including graphic development/editing, logistics, internal communication/planning, and implementation of targeted communication campaigns. Assist in implementation of public relations activities between Lake Region, PR agency, and media. Development and implementation of internal communications across multiple communications vehicles. Maintain consistency in company marketing materials by adhering to corporate brand standards. Ensure quality and accuracy of work by proofing own work, producing proof copies for review by others, revising materials according to written directions on proofs, and by checking final proofs. Meet specific deadlines for assigned projects. Provide easy access to all art, photo and electronic files by maintaining a consistent, logical and organized filing system. Requirement include: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design; or equivalent combination of education and related job experience. Knowledge of graphic design processes, methods and techniques such as typography, layout and color. Six (6) months to 3 years experience in the Marketing field. Proficient in graphic design and presentation software, such as InDesign/Quark Xpress, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver or other major graphic design software. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within scope of Marketing. Excellent written communication skills, including use of proper grammar and punctuation. Proven ability to manage diverse workload and multiple priorities with attention to details. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Above average interpersonal skills; must work effectively with department staff, management and other internal personnel.
