JOB DESCRIPTION
ELC Technologies is looking for awesome software engineers that have a passion to make cool things on the mobile platform. Whether you have just graduated from college or are a self-taught hacker, we would love to have you on board to work on Android applications for some of the largest clients in the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain Android phone and tablet applications following Agile development methodologies using the official Android SDK.
- Create clean, organized and well documented code that is reusable and maintainable.
- Work with other members of the team to complete the tasks at hand.
- Be passionate and enthusiastic about the code you are writing and share your knowledge and experience with others.
- Adjust and apply technical knowledge in a dynamic environment using Agile development.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Java and latest Android SDKs.
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms, etc.).
- Have shipped at least one application in the Android Market (please send links).
- 6 months of mobile development experience. This could be professional, personal, or include courses at a University.
- Strong passion for coding (hopefully you code on your free time)!
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with distributed teams.
NICE TO HAVE
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Multiple applications in the Market.
- Have written function, system and acceptance tests for Android.
- Experience working with RESTful web services, git, open source projects.
- Experience interfacing with clients.
- Experience following an Agile work flow.
