Engineering Supervisor As an Engineering Supervisor with Lake Region Medical, you will be responsible for production support engineering for a specific product or group of products and directly supervise and coordinate the work of technical engineering staff. Accountabilities include: Supervises a group of technical staff to ensure that production processes are analyzed and designed to ensure maximum efficiency and output. Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates work to meet overall production time standards. Provides day-to-day leadership and works with staff to ensure a high-performance work environment that supports department objectives. Establishes performance requirements, monitors performance and provides coaching for performance improvement and development. Reviews and approves engineering documents related to production and development. Provides communication with Sales, Production and Quality. Performs functions as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. Requirements include: Bachelors degree in Engineering. 6 or more years experience, of which at least 2 years are preferred in the medical products industry. Extensive breadth and depth of knowledge of manufacturing operations and functions and project administration, including procurement, inventory control, quality control, production planning and control, test and inspection, and layout. Demonstrated leadership skills. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Possess a working knowledge and compliance to FDA and ISO procedures and policies.
