The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about all things UX and is an advocate for the user first and foremost. This person also has the vision and leadership skills to help build our UX capability, yet is willing to work the front lines until our team and client needs have time to develop.

The person we are looking for will:

• Help shape the discovery phase of our initiatives from heuristic evaluations and competitive reviews to playing a supporting role in consumer research and stakeholder interviews.
• Leverage discovery findings to drive key pieces of the strategy phase such as user scenarios, features and functionality sets, content mapping, site architecture and wireframes.
• Demonstrate a great eye for UI design, acting as a partner to our creative team to craft smart user experiences while being mindful of our clients' needs.
• Support the development team with well-thought-through interaction notes for wireframes, robust use cases and a collaborative approach to technical problem-solving.
• Lead immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing.
• Have an obsessive attention to detail that borders on perfectionism.
• Have excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Have 6+ years experience as a UX lead with strong B2C experience at an agency.

What we aren't looking for:

• Visual designers who want to continue to be visual designers.
• Information architects who are only interested in production tasks such as wireframes.

These experiences are required for consideration:

• Exposure to a range of projects from highly transactional digital experiences to more informational and marketing driven customer touch-points across an ever-growing breadth of devices.
• An understanding of target audiences' needs and goals and an ability to translate those into clear direction for the creative team.
• Experience educating internal team members as well as clients.
