Northwestern University: Software Developer

We are a team of developers at the Northwestern University Biomedical Informatics Center on the downtown Chicago campus. Our group builds software that is used on a daily basis by hundreds of researchers.

We believe in collaboration, learning from our peers, using the right tool for the job, and open source. We emphasize modern, agile software development practices including BDD and continuous integration.

We use Ruby, Rails, ColdFusion, jQuery, Compass, RSpec, Cucumber, Jenkins CI, PostgreSQL, Git, Redmine, Linux, OS X.

We are looking for someone with a passion for software development, learning, and exploring new technologies. You will work on the whole stack from DB to UI.
