Barefoot Proximity has an immediate opening for a Web Application Developer to work either in our Cincinnati, OH office OR remotely within the United States.  Barefoot's culture is one of having everyone contribute as you continually learn about your clients and the interactive marketing world.We’re strong in a number of technologies, the primary ones being Ruby on Rails and PHP.

Qualifications:

·      5+ years experience developing database-driven, dynamic web sites

·      Minimum of 2 years experience working in Rails

·      Strong RDBMS experience

·      Strong client-side JavaScript, preferably using jQuery.

·      You’ve also got to be at least comfortable with client-side UI development (CSS, HTML), although that won’t be the main part of your job

·      Experience with performance scaling is a plus
