We’re looking for incredibly talented and creative developers to help design, develop, and implement the code for our web and mobile products.

Although our core platform is written in Rails 3.2, we have a strong culture of using the best tool for the job, whether that’s Ruby, Python, Node.js, JavaScript/Coffeescript, SQL, redis/resque, MySQL/PostgreSQL, PhoneGap, etc. and we have a deep involvement in open source (via patches and opening our own code).

We expect you to be an expert in the traditional HTML application stack - you don’t need to be a Rails expert to join - but we expect you to become an expert at any technology, language, or platform that we need in the future, be it Scala, Python, or C#. Definitely not COBOL.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in iterative/agile software development in a primarily web environment
• Develop high-quality software via TDD/BDD, participate in code reviews (via Github pull requests)
• Work closely with team members, designers, and customers to build the right thing, right
• Contribute to the open-source community, author blog posts, speak at meetups and conferences

Requirements:

• Amazing development skills: you have a track record of living the “Smart, and Gets Things Done” ethos. You’re the best of the best, and you won’t tolerate working with anyone who isn’t
• Extensive, expert-level experience with the web stack
• Self-starter, motivated, results-driven, opinionated, hates micromanagement, high levels of energy, optimism, and a “can-do” attitude
