Chango is seeking an energetic, motivated and intelligent software developer to join our engineering team. 

 

You will be working on an exciting product, contributing to different aspects of the system as required with room for growth into more senior positions. You will gain exposure to a high transaction “cloud scale” application that processes over 200,000 requests per second. You will work with Python and Django and get a taste of Erlang.

Chango is changing the way advertisers buy display media, allowing advertisers to speak directly to consumers based on their recent searches on Google, Yahoo!, and Bing, among others.

Requirements

- High energy and enthusiasm to develop the next big thing in internet advertising.

- Self-starter with great verbal communication skills.

- Experience with Python and Django is required.

- Experience with Erlang, Ruby, or Java is a plus.

- Unix / Linux skills, including shell scripting and basic administration is a huge plus.

- Familiarity with Python automated testing tools and continuous integration is ideal.

- Front-end development skills: CSS, JavaScript with familiarity with Firebug or WebKit Development Tools.

- Knowledge of relational databases including query optimization is required.

- Highly analytical, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
