Primary responsibilities include rapid design, development and iteration of our backend storage engine and API that will support the storage and management of Petabytes of data.

Requirements

• Java and/or Scala Rockstar

• A passion for clean, beautiful code

• Excellent problem solving and creative thinking

• Excellent communication as we are a distributed team

• Analytical and detail oriented

• Able to prioritize, execute, and deliver projects on time

• A drive projects forward and make things happen

Highly Desired Abilities:

• Experience with massively distributed and large scale software systems

• Extensive experience with both MySQL and NoSQL databases like HBase

• Data Warehousing experience

• Knowledge of web services: both utilization and creation of APIs

• Experience in a high-energy startup or an enterprise class software company

• Participation in Internet Culture (lives on the web, MMORPG Gamer)
