About ooShirts
ooShirts is making it easy to order custom t-shirts, saving people loads of money, and fighting vigorously against the cursed inefficiencies of the t-shirt printing industry. Our goal is simple: to make it easy and inexpensive to order custom t-shirts.
We are a young and rapidly-growing company (one of the Inc Magazine's 'Coolest College Startups' in 2011). We recently shipped out our millionth shirt, helping a wide range of groups - sports teams, charities, schools, churches, businesses - save vast amounts of time and money on the way there. We've been growing quickly, but are still a miniscule piece of this massive market: we still have enormous potential to grow and modernize this antiquated industry.
The Role
In the following months, we will completely change the way our website looks and functions. Currently, though functional, it's bland, uses dying technologies, and ultimately fails to distinguish us from the myriad other printing companies out there. We're looking to bring in someone with a mastery of front end development (see below) to give our users the very best t-shirt design experience.
You'll be working directly with the founder of the company. Salary will be very competitive. Our office is one block away from the downtown Berkeley BART station.
Requirements
* Mastery of Javascript (including Node)
* Mastery of HTML5 and CSS3
* Familiarity with PHP and mySQL
* An appreciation of clean, intuitive design
