We are Zumba Fitness. We are looking for a Lead UI Developer to bring best-in-class coding skills to our organization. You will manage front-end development for web and mobile projects, maintain and add to our pattern library, and help bring the best of the web and mobile to Zumba Fitness.

Responsibilities: 

• Create strategy for front-end code for web (stacks, frameworks, etc)

• Act as the front-end development lead on projects, mentoring junior team members.

• Build and manage template, widget, and pattern library.

• Mentor junior team members about traditional engineering methods and current best practices.

• Resolve system defects and help troubleshoot production issues.

• Participate in QA to ensure high quality code and a consistent user experience.

• Manage multiple projects at the same time and be able to prioritize tasks and set expectations. 

• Work collaboratively with UX Design Lead, Visual Designers, Back-end Developers and client stakeholders.

• Ensure a consistent user experience across platforms and devices.

Experience:

• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, etc

• Experience with SQL, REST, JSON, etc

• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals

• Experience coding front-end that is scalable and cross browser and cross-platform compatible

• Knowledge of responsive web design, graceful degradation, and progressive enhancement

• Experience working with user experience methodologies.

• Experience translating wireframes to fully functional code that is modular and re-usable.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, web development, or related field.

• 4 to 7 years of experience.

• Solid portfolio, a history of launching top-notch web interfaces.
