You know The Onion. I'm sure you've read "I'm Thinking Printers" in your cubicle while grinding away on CSS and HTML for some consulting client that you hate. You're probably going to visit The Onion after this and put off your soul-crushing work for just a few more minutes.
Get out of hell and come work for The Onion. If you were here in the past 6 months, you would have:
  - Built an HTML5 iPad app using node.js, require.js, mustache templates, and the stylus css language.

  - Worked behind the scenes with Facebook to integrate their Open Graph API with The Onion.

  - Deployed an in-house analytics engine to help us deliver better content to millions of users.

  - Watched 10+ bands perform live in a small room. (We also run the A.V. Club)
You'll be developing major features on our site and will be a core part of our team, helping us bring The Onion and AV Club to more readers across all devices.
We are looking for someone who:
  - is religious about semantic HTML and CSS.

  - works comfortably in Django templates (or templates in general).

  - knows 'The Good Parts' of Javascript.
We'd love it if you've built mobile websites, but if not, we'd still love to talk to you. Please include a link to your portfolio in your application.
