About Us
Quiet Foundation is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer, who is comfortable developing in multiple frameworks and languages, (skip to the bullet points to see the details). We are accepting qualified applicants in both contractor and full-time engagements, immediately.
Our team supports a project portfolio of creative development, implementation and support for numerous startup and established businesses. We have recently merged with a larger family of companies including tastytrade.com and kieditdesign.com. Our current projects are in the broadcast network, charitable-giving, and private-finance sectors of business, and we have a history in the financial services markets designing and developing at a major on-line trading brokerage.
You would be an ideal fit if:
- You are a smart and experienced problem solver,
- You have experience with and use best-fit, best-of-breed open source frameworks to efficiently solve problems,
- You're interested in creating tools and frameworks to make our work easier when appropriate,
- You are professional and detail-oriented in your code and when interacting with other developers and clients,
- You are independent, and can work off-site/at-home, collaborating on-line with the team and meeting deadlines,
- You are able to write tests for your work where appropriate,
- You hold a Computer Science or Math Degree, preferably, but not required.
