Summary
We’re looking for a talented and experienced web user interface developer to join an Agile/Scrum development organization to develop a new cloud based service that combines aspects of analytics, cloud integration, web & mobile content assembly and asynchronous content injection technologies. You’ll be a critical part of the UX team, bridging the user experience design team and the scrum team. Your role is to bring to life, through first-class code, the front-end designs created by your UX colleagues (Interaction Designers and UI Designers), and to work closely with other developers within the scrum team to bind your work to the services created to support it.

Key Responsibilities
- In collaboration with other development and UX team members, turn user stories, wireframes and/or pixel mockups into high-quality, modern application interfaces using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS & AJAX
- Work across functions to solve design challenges; seek input from Product Management, Architecture, Development, and UX/UI colleagues
- Help establish UI best-practices, patterns, and development frameworks within the scrum team and across teams for all products with a focus on Test-Driven Development and Test Automation
General Skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills – you like working with a team
Experience & Qualifications
Required
- Expertise in XHTML, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and RESTful web services (JSON, etc.)
- Proven experience planning and coding interfaces with flexible layouts using Responsive Design techniques
- Proven experience developing web applications as a part of a product development team
- Strong interest in creating great user experiences
Advantageous
- Mobile app development experience
- Developing interfaces for data visualization and analytics
- Strong working knowledge of or experience within other layers of the development stack: Linux, SQL variants, PHP, etc.
- Visual UI design skills (Photoshop comps),
