The Senior Developer works in a fast paced environment as a part of a highly skilled team to regularly deliver high quality, innovative software solutions.  This position will utilize creativity, intelligence and a passion for continuous improvement.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

• Focuses on delivering value to our customers.

• Consistently and iteratively delivers critical applications and updates to our customers.

• Collaborates openly and effectively with other agile team members.

• Utilizes test-driven development to guide the design quality and accuracy of software solutions.

• Maintains ownership of delivered solutions seeking to make each release an incremental improvement in quality.

• Assists the team in keeping up to date with innovation in software tooling and development practices, and implementing these ideas into day-to-day use.

• Designs framework, core and common components for a service-oriented application architecture.

• Defines and implements strategies for the integration of 3rd party systems into the business and technical architectures.

• Establishes and builds relationships with individuals across a variety of departments; seeks to build trust through a professional attitude, confidence and a strong work ethic.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience required.

• A good understanding of the .NET Framework and object oriented concepts.

• 3 - 7 years of experience with object oriented development on distributed systems.

• Demonstrable experience with C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.

• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, nServiceBus, Castle Windsor, NHibernate, or similar alternatives to these, preferred.

• Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration and deployment, domain-driven design, CQRS, and agile teams desired.

• Active participation in the community is preferred, such as attendance of industry/technical events, frequent blog reader and/or blog contributor.

• Good attention to detail, excellent organization skills and the ability to work with a high sense of urgency.

• Enjoys working on team with a culture based on collaboration, teamwork, and innovation.

• Seeking an opportunity to work across the stack and provide strategic input.
