We’re seeking an enthusiastic and talented web application developer to join our engineering team. You’ll be contributing to the full stack of our platform, working on everything from core features, bug fixes, infrastructure, site performance and anything else you are inspired to do.
About the Engineering Team
We believe in crafting quality software, and enjoy the creative process that comes with it. We are committed to using the right tool for the job and are always thinking critically about our choices. Our current systems are built using Ruby, Sinatra, Rails, Postgres, and ElasticSearch. We deploy on both physical and cloud infrastructures multiple times per day, and maintain confidence in our code through dedication to testing.
About You
You’ve likely built systems using some of the same tools we have, but most importantly you have an aptitude to learn new ones when the opportunity presents itself. You may have contributed to some open source projects and we want to encourage you to continue through our regular open source hack days. You may or may not formal education in computer science. Most importantly you have a desire and skills to contribute on all levels of the platform.
