About You:

- Solid experience with both Ruby on Rails centered software development and managing a development team
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with most of our technology stack and willingness to learn the rest
- Track record of success in reacting to changing requirements and multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 2-5 software and devops engineers
- Manage project plan, including juggling priorities and schedule and estimating stories
- Work with customer service to solve problems
- Monitor server activity and errors and take corrective action
- Incrementally improve existing code while designing and then implementing the next version

- Ruby on Rails (2.3.x, upgrade to 3.2.x or 4.0 planned)
- PostgreSQL
- HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery
- Many external APIs (Commission Junction, LinkShare, Google Affiliate Networks, Guidestar, ShareASale, PepperJam...)
- Mechanize/Hashie for working with partners without APIs
- Rackspace (hosted and cloud)

- SendGrid
- Chef
