Toura is currently recruiting a Ruby on Rails Developer to work in our New York City office. We are seeking an experienced software engineer specializing in web application development with Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, and a side of Javascript (jQuery, etc.). The Ruby on Rails Developer will work on user interface, web application, and API development. 

Experience with Javascript MVC, mobile web (Webkit), Objective-C (iPhone/iPad), Java (Android), or PhoneGap a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing advanced web applications components using Rails/JavaScript/HTML/CSS
• Performing TDD (unit and functional) using Cucumber/Rspec/etc.

 

REQUIREMENTS 

• Advanced knowledge of Ruby on Rails, TDD, HTML/JS/CSS
• 3-5 years experience designing and implementing web applications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
