WeWork: Front-End Developer

WeWork is a fast-growing, exciting business with some big picture goals for creating an amazing web application. We’re looking for an energetic, passionate, creative and sharp Front-End Developer to contribute in the creation of our current and next generation applications. 

You will be an early addition to our core team and your work will be a key part of our exciting cutting-edge web-based applications. You will use your experience to create and innovate new solutions on a daily basis, which will be developed and released within weeks. If you're the right person for the job, you'll grow quickly within the position and expand your responsibilities to include managing others involved in the effort.

You will start by working from wireframes, PSDs, and existing stylesheets to refactor existing pages. We want you to start here to learn our code, what we’re up to, and how we like to do things. Once you feel comfortable, your challenge will be to take the new and innovative interfaces we are envisioning for our features and build them into awesome front-end interfaces that are a great experience for our users.

What makes this unique from other front-end developer jobs? You’re getting to work in the same office space as our application’s end users (about 2,500 people). Second, this is not an early startup. We’re a fully operational business with the coolest coworking offices in the nation. Last, the people you get to work with and be introduced to are simply awesome. Skills & Requirements:

• A solid grasp and understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery. 
• Ability to deliver. We want someone who can spit out amazing code and get it out the door.
• Ability to communicate your feedback through visuals: sketches, wireframes, notations on PSDs.

Your hours can be irregular and unpredictable, including work at night and on weekends. All we really care about is that you are in our office, get your work done, and that you’re having fun. The person we are looking to hire will be working from our San Francisco WeWork location.
