Responsibilities
– Work closely with product, design and the newsroom to create a best in class, cross-platform HTML5 crossword gaming experience
– Push the envelope for state of the art HTML5 web applications and development practices
Requirements
– A strong understanding of JavaScript design patterns and current issues and practices
– Expertise in HTML, CSS, and cross-browser layout issues
– The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a smart and diverse team with a healthy appetite for debate
Ideally
– Experience with Canvas, Node.js and Jasmine
– Proficient with Unix, scripting languages, SQL, and regular expressions
– Experience in building as well as consuming RESTful APIs.
