A new social media technology startup in LA, founded by an award winning entrepreneur is now hiring.

We are seeking a self reliant, self starter who is already a lead PHP developer.

Previous experience will determine the package of mainly stock options.

Responsibilities:

-Develop our software (Social, Web 2.0)

-Work with existing code

-Write high quality, clean code with comments & documentation (Agile, RAD)

-Use CoC, DRY and do not reinvent the wheel

-Integrate & deploy from test to live systems in a scalable manner

Skills & Requirements

Several years experience (in work) required with:

-Linux servers (LAMP)

-Apache family

-MySQL

-PHP

-Use of APIs, SDKs, 3rd Party Modules and Components

Optional Experience:

-Javascript, jQuery, JSON and CSS3

-MVC & RESTful service architecture

-Facebook, Twitter & other social APIs

-AWS, EC2

Skills:

-Responsible

-Reliable

-Finisher, gets the job done

-Excellent at verbal and written communication in English

-Considerable email, txt and update volumes

-Organized, efficient
