Speicher 210 is looking for marathon runner with a PHP background.

We are Speicher 210 GmbH – a small company with a highly motivated team who is specialized in IT project management and Business/IT Alignment. We are working for great clients, to get an idea please have a look at our website. Currently we are looking for a PHP application developer to enrich our development team. Please don't take the marathon runner to serious. We do like to run and indeed some of us do run marathons in our free time, but even if you are not a runner please read on.

Speicher 210 is growing slowly but steady, and therefore we are looking for a skilled PHP developer.

 

What to expect...

We are looking for a skilled PHP developer to join our development team. Your main activities will be framework / application development and implementation of business related applications. You will be working in our team and in close cooperation with external developers.

Here you are involved in the development of business related applications; technical conception and documentation, release management and implementation. We like our clients, so close contact and direct communication with our customers should be no problem to you.

We are offering you a full-time job at our headquarters in Hamburg, one of the nicest and greenest city's of Germany.

What we expect...

You should have at least 2 years experience in:

• PHP 5.3
• OOP /OOD
• in-depth know-how in Software Architecture, familiarity with design patterns, unit testing, and writing testable code 
• databases (SQL; optimization/normalization experience is a bonus) 
• PHP frameworks expertise 
• AJAX XML xHTML / CSS / JS

• fastidious documentation skills 
• experience with a revision control system 
• awareness of performance, scalability, maintainability, security, etc.
• follow coding standards (naming conventions, XHTML, PHP coding-standards, etc.) and best-practices like DRY, KISS and coding to E_STRICT validity

You find our customers, suppliers and (external) developers all over Europe, a good knowledge of English (written and spoken) is a must 

have.

Nice to have’s:

• Linux (basic knowledge)
• knowledge and experience in C/C++, C#, Java also knowledge of ExtJs would be a plus
